About John & Lauren

HOW WE MET:
John & Lauren met when John was in 10th grade and Lauren was in 8th grade. They were on a trip with their youth group to Chattanooga, Tennessee for Student Life Camp. On the way there, Lauren noticed that John (then the new guy in town) was sitting alone, so she invited him to come and sit with her friends. They were friends throughout high school, and even went on one (very awkward) date to a high school dance. They began their dating relationship nearly three years after their "disaster-date," on August 29, 2005

ABOUT JOHN:
John is currently a full-time undergraduate student at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  He is studying Christian Ministry, with a focus in International Missions.  John works as a Campus Police Officer on the NOBTS campus, but will enter the New Orleans Police Department's training academy in 2008 to become an NOPD officer.  John loves to work on computers, and spend time at PJ's Coffee House with Lauren.

ABOUT LAUREN:
Lauren is also a full-time undergraduate student at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  She is studying Christian Ministry, with a focus in Children's & Preschool ministry.  Lauren works as a nanny for two wonderful little boys in New Orleans.  Lauren loves working (and playing) with children.
